GeoTagr How To & FAQ > How To > How to geotag photos in a shared folder on my Mac
Search the FAQ for entries containing:

First transfer your photos to a shared folder on your Mac.
Then, on the Geotag tab (iPhone) or Geotag screen (iPad), choose "Mac Shared Folder". Select your Mac and log in with your Mac user name and password.
Once logged in, a list with shared folders exposed by that Mac is presented. Tap on the red button next to the shared folder that contains your photos to start geotagging your photos.
When geotagging is finished, import the photos in iPhoto (Places) or any other photo management application on your Mac (Adobe Lightroom, Aperture, Picasa, ...)
Aperture 3 users can also import a GPX track file.
Although GeoTagr is successfully tested with photos of 5000+ different digital cameras - just to play safe - your original photos are moved to a subfolder during the geotagging process.
