The performance of the geotagging depends on the type of your photos.
For JPEG photos the geotagging performance slightly depends on your camera type, but is around 120 photos per minute.
For RAW photos, geotagging is slightly faster: 100 - 180 photos per minute depending on the type of the RAW photos (NEF, CR2, ...).
