GeoLogTag 1.0 became available in the App Store on the 4th of December

2008. So this is a good time to look back and evaluate what happened during

these 12 months.

For me personally it was a very interesting experience and it still is. I learned

a lot, I had a lot of interaction with my really friendly customers, I launched a

second app and it was just fun to be involved in everything related to iPhone

apps.

Whatever money I make with my apps is a bonus on top of everything else I mentioned above. In the past year I sold a total of 1961 copies of GeoLogTag.

The first sales “peak” in May is related to the 2.0 release of GeoLogTag which offered an all-in-one geotagging solution for Mac users. Since then sales have been more or less constant with the exception of July and August, the 2 main vacation photography months.

I’m currently working on the next major GeoLogTag release (3.0) which will have native RAW support and some other nice features.
