How to geotag photos on my Windows PC

To geotag photos on your PC, you can use GPX files generated by GeoLogTag. As you probably already noticed, there is a GPX button at the top left of the GeoLog tab. If you tap the button, GeoLogTag starts generating a GPX file for all locations logged during the last 90 days. When the GPX file is generated, you can choose to email it or to download it with a browser.

When you choose to mail the file, a standard iPhone mail screen is shown.

When you choose to download it with a browser, a dialog is shown:

GeoLogTag has turned your iPhone/iPod touch into a web server, and you can download the GPX files using a browser on your PC. Just type the URL displayed in the dialog (not the URL from the dialog above, but the URL shown on your device!) in your browser and a page looking like the one below is shown:

So, download the GPX file(s) of your choice and use them in your favorite geotagging application. Good geotagging applications for Windows are RoboGeo and GeoSetter.
