GeoLogTag
How to let GeoLogTag track my locations during a photoshoot
To track your locations, go to the GeoLog tab. The screen is deliberately kept as simple as possible. The first time you start GeoLogTag the GeoLog tab will look something like this:

So, there is a running clock (makes synchronizing time with your camera easier), an on/off switch and a text field below the switch. The text field shows the total number of locations logged during the last 90 days. Locations older than 90 days are automatically deleted. You can delete ALL locations any time by swiping from left to right over the location counter field.
Note that GeoLogTag Free deletes locations older than 2 hours.
Turn the switch on to start a geologging session. The screen now looks like this:

The location counter now displays 2 numbers, the first one is the number of locations logged during the current session, the second one is the total number of locations (as explained earlier).
With the control above the on/off switch you can choose a log mode.
Continuous: a location is logged approximately every 10 meter you move (6 - 7 hours *)
3’ - a location is logged every 3 minutes (9 - 10 hours *)
5’ - a location is logged every 5 minutes (12 - 14 hours *)
10’ - a location is logged every 10 minutes (24 hours *)
60’ - a location is logged every hour (6 days *)

An estimation of how much battery time is left is shown.
More time between logged locations obviously results in a longer battery life, but also in less accurate geotags afterwards. You can switch between log modes during a session.
GeoLogTag offers the possibility to add a new position manually by tapping the ‘+’ button to the right of the location counter (not possible in continuous mode).

So, once you started the logging and picked the right log mode, put your device in your pocket or backpack and start with your photoshoot. The proximity sensor of the iPhone is used to blank out the screen to extend battery life.
Don’t stop GeoLogTag during your photoshoot. If you stop GeoLogTag, it will no longer track your location.
If you’re done shooting, turn the switch off. GeoLogTag stops tracking your location, but you can turn it on again at any time.
Now that GeoLogTag stored your locations during your photoshoot, there are 3 ways to continue. You can geotag photos located on your Mac, on your PC or you can geotag your Flickr photos.
