Why can’t I use the iPhone’s sleep/wake button?

When you use the sleep/wake button to lock your iPhone, GPS is disabled automatically. Not something you want while you’re geologging!

The sleep/wake button is the one at the top-right of the iPhone.

If you push the sleep/wake button accidentally while geologging

is on, stop geologging and start it back immediately. By restarting

geologging, GPS is enabled again.

If you put your iPhone in a pocket or backpack, GeoLogTag blanks

the screen (to extend battery life) by making use of the proximity sensor.
