Does GeoLogTag work on an iPod touch or 1st generation iPhone?

Your iPod touch or 1st generation iPhone has no built-in GPS like the iPhone 3G, but it uses broadcast signals of Wi-Fi access points to triangulate your location (WPS). So you can use GeoLogTag in areas covered by WPS technology if you have Wi-Fi turned on.

You can check here whether there’s coverage in the area where you want to use GeoLogTag. Note that the website also works for locations outside of the USA. E.g. try “Paris, France”.
